Job duties range from remote programming, engineering, and graphics, to traveling to job sites to help with installations, checkout and commissioning, and training,Essential Job Functions* Perform a variety of tasks as a member of the Centralized Services team. * On-site installation, checkout and commissioning of Trane controls. * Custom programming for job-specific applications. * Engineering using the GraphICS software tool * Field tech and customer training. * Product Development Team assignments, including functional design, new product testing and product literature development. * Significant travel required * Ability to meet short- and long-term deadlines. * Effectively meet the needs of internal and external customers. * Ability to work regularly and dependably. * Ability to function in a team environment. * Demonstrate ability to cope with stress and maintain a pleasant and cooperative temperament with internal and external customers. * Demonstrate ability to perform mental tasks such as making decisions, learning, thinking rationally and exercising good judgment. * Other duties as assigned. * Ability to effectively communicate with others both written and orally, including the telephone. Mobility within the work facility. Ability to travel independently. Keyboarding. Lifting up to 50 lbs.* BSEE, BSME, Computer Science degree preferred or a minimum of 10 years of directly related engineering discipline/experience required. * HVAC equipment and system and IT knowledge preferred. * Proven ability to write HVAC control programs using simple programming language. * Network communications, CNE, MCSE or equivalent experience preferred. * Windows operating systems, Windows Server and Internet Information Server knowledge preferred. * Technical documentation skills. * Classroom presentation skills. * Customer support and telephone communication skills.For quick consideration apply here
