Basic Function
We need a talented individual to work in this fast paced position, who will be responsible to support sales operations by inspecting drawings and building plans in order to quantify equipment and price accordingly for the sales team.
Essential duties and responsibilities include
The duties of an Estimator in this sales environment will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Generate blue print and plan Take OffsProcess and obtain project information including bid dates and customer InformationDownload and print drawings, plans, and specifications from subscription based websites to make job foldersComplete special projects Other general office responsibilities
Qualifications
Accuracy and detail oriented, strong multi-tasking skills, complete several concurrent tasks, manages time effectively and prioritizes tasks to meet deadlines, strong responsible work ethic, uses time productively to accomplish work goals, learns quickly on the job, is open to changing situations of tasks, and has excellent attendance. Computer skills and working with numbers are a must (word, excel, outlook, access and other manufacturer specific software used daily). The ability to comprehend technical product knowledge is helpful. The ability to read, interpret or understand blueprints is a plus but not required. A basic understanding of building construction is also helpful.
