The NY VP (based in NYC), David Cone-Gorham, has been working as a construction recruiter for 10 years, and is working hand in hand with our two Boston based NY account managers, Sean McGowan and Tom Crum. A very well established $1 Billion / year plus CM is seeking a very special candidate to join them as a VP in their High Rise division. Extensive High Rise Residential experience in NYC is necessary. While this company continues to grow in leaps and bounds, with signs everywhere in the NYC metro area, those who work in the upper echelon must check their egos at the door. Corporate Safety Director
This established company is a NY based (not internationally based) Construction Management firm exceeding $1 Billion / year, doing work in commercial, residential and retail sectors. Extensive High Rise work throughout the NYC Metro area is this company’s top identifying trait. Minimum of 10 years experience in High Rise Safety Management. NYC DOB Site Safety license and all other required training for this heavy hitting position are required. Salary is open based on experience.
Site Safety Manager
A 100 year old company with a steady $100 mill / annum of work is seeking a NY Site Safety Manager for ground up education sector work. Pay is negotiable in the 70 to 110k range. A minimum of 7 years experience is required, as well as all NYC Safety Licenses and Training. Experience on ground up and renovation work in the private education sector is preferred.
Chief Financial Officer
A relatively new and growing company with a volume of over $100 mill / year is seeking a CFO for their Midtown Manhattan office. This CM / GC is growing and steady with high end clients throughout the TriState area. A minimum of 15 years experience, and a tough shell for a fast paced an high stress business is required! Salary is open depending on experience. CPA and Financial Degrees preferred.
Quality Assurance / Quality Control Manager
This 20 plus year old CM / GC, with over $800 million in backlogged work is seeking a QA/QC manager to oversee all necessary facets of quality assurance for the companies high profile projects. This is a heavily diversified Construction company with work in High Rise, Low Rise, Commercial Office, Retail, Landmark, Museum, Education and healthcare sectors. Degree is Necessary. Familiarity with ISO 9000, and other related training is preferred. Some construction supervision / site supervision experience is necessary.
Superintendent – High End Retail
This 10 year old growing General Contractor is dedicated to the highest of high end retail clients in the nation, building in NYC and around the country. While this company does sometimes hire travelling superintendents, they are now looking for a dedicated NYC local superintendent. This company is hoping to find someone towards the beginning of their career with 5-10 years of experience, preferably in the high end interiors business – retail would be great. These projects are Fast Track, and usually complete within 2-3 months. The average project cost is 1-3 million dollars. Salary is open, negotiable up to 90k.
Senior Estimator or Mid Level Estimator – High End Residential
An established player in the Ultra High End Residential market is seeking a 5-10 year estimator with an eye for detail. This client is willing to look at exceptional people in the Commercial and Residential interiors industries as well as Specialty Contractor estimators in Drywall or related trades. You must be organized, very well spoken and possess excellent writing skills. The clients of this steady $60 mill / year CM / GC are not for the faint of heart. An energetic and hard working individual is required for this position. Pay will be extremely competitive for the right person.
Project Manager – Owner’s Rep firm
A relatively new Owner’s Rep firm located in DUMBO, Brooklyn, is seeking a project manager with at least 4-6 years experience, preferably on mid to high rise ground up residential projects in the greater NYC area. This is an exceptional experience to join a growing and ambitious firm, run by young and energetic gentlemen whose track records and backgrounds speak for themselves. Salary is open up to 100k.
Project Accountant – New Jersey
An established 20 year old GC / CM with an annual volume of over $200 mill / year is seeking a project accountant and a generalist to join their NJ offices. A minimum of 5 years experience is required. Degree in Accounting or Finance is also required. Salary up to 65k.
Sales Positions!
We have two sales positions at this time. One is a business development position for a well established ultra high end residential builder in Western CT. You must have some construction experience in project management or field supervision, high end residential project experience, and a network or at least an understanding of the Western CT society as you will be required to attend events, dinners, etc… in an attempt to win new business for this firm.
The second sales position is with a leader in Commercial Modular Building products based in PA and NJ. This position will require some travel throughout the Tri State area. A minimum of 5 years experience in Modular Building is required. Some project management or field supervision experience is also necessary. These are both base plus commission positions with extremely high earning potential (no cap).
