CREDIT MANAGER OR SUPERVISOR

Building Supply Company in City of Industry seeking an experienced Credit Manager or Supervisor.Responsible for the management of the overall credit and collection operations. Oversee development and performance of direct reports. Knowledge of all legal aspects of the collection process. Responsible for DSO reduction, collections in relations to sales, reserves and any other function that directly affecting the department goals and objectives. Grant credit within the established company policy. Credit and financial analysis skills. Review and release sales orders in a timely fashion.  Meet shipping deadlines. Schedule and run aging reviews.  Work with Branch Sales Managers to increase and secure all sales. Oversee hiring process of key positions in credit department. Responsible for alternate security options and procedures. Complete special projects as needed.

Requirements5+ years of credit and collection process experience. 3 years supervisory experience. 3 years experience in building materials and construction industry. Strong organizational and time management skills, must be able to handle multiple tasks and projects. Work well under extreme pressure & stress, must have employee developmental skills and the ability to work with sales, operations and finance management. California compliance and lien laws relating to collection of debts.
