This is for that special person who has a successful track record selling “capital goods” types of products such as construction, power generation, CNC, HVAC, or material handling equipment. You can expect the tools, training, and supporting environment required for your continuing success along with a competitive salary, bonus, full benefits, and company vehicle.The primary responsibilities of the position are to:· Sell a suite of products and technology to the manufacturers of pre-cast/pre-stress concrete.· Work closely with concrete manufacturers to design and sell complete systems to automate and improve their production facilities. · Provide sales and technical support, demonstrate, recommend, and provide solutions to the pre-stress/pre-cast industries while maintaining a professional sales approach.· Work closely with other members of the sales team as well as distributors/dealers to coordinate training, product support, service, and marketing activities. Sales experience with equipment used to manufacture concrete products is highly desirable. Acceptable alternate experience includes sales of relatively big ticket items (price range of $50K to $350K) in construction equipment, standby power generation systems, CNC, HVAC, and/or material handling equipment, etc.Minimum qualifications for the position include:· A successful track record (5+ years) selling big ticket, technically complex capital goods type products.· Excellent communications; the ability to deliver effective presentations to audiences from the factory floor to the boardroom.· A Bachelors Degree in Engineering or other appropriate discipline is highly desirable. Commensurate experience will be considered.· You should live near a major airport located between South Carolina and Massachusetts in order to accommodate 50% to 75% travel throughout the territory of the Carolinas to New England.
