Carpenter / Maintenance Tech / Handyman

Growing company looking to add Carpenter / Maintenance Technician / Handyman to join a force of hard working, self motivated and reliable team members. 

 

The successful candidate will possess the ability to troubleshoot and repair general commercial building and maintenance problems. This includes the knowledge required to estimate, lay out and complete small remodeling projects such as framing walls, finishing drywall, installing ceilings, painting, flooring, etc.  Must have own tools to perform needed work. 

 

Mostly daytime work, some nights and weekends required.

Must be able to work throughout the complete Detroit metropolitan area and beyond.  Occasional overnight travel may be required. 

Candidate must be able to take part in emergency on call schedule.

 

Clean driving record, drug free a must.  Must be able to obtain government background check for work required in federal facilities.

 

Starting pay ranges from $12.00 to $15.00 per hour.  Medical coverage is provided with an employee co-pay.  Voluntary benefits such as dental, long

and short term disability, and life insurance available. 

 

Company vehicle and fuel provided to be used for work related business only.
