Commercial Tenant Improvement Sales Rep / Estimator

Job Description:

Small and fast growing general contractor seeks a motivated and experienced tenant improvement sales representative who currently has their own book of business.

The ideal candidate for this position is a multi-tasker who is aggressive, personable, extremely organized, detail and results oriented, able to work independently in a small office environment and computer savvy.



Duties & Responsibilities:

-  Develop, implement and manage a formal business development and sales strategy for selling TI work.  Clearly define sales goals, milestones and benchmarks for success.
-  Clearly document and explain the above strategy
-  Leverage your own pre-existing relationships to sell TI work
-  Prospect for new clients
-  Meet with clients, prepare written estimates with price breakdown
-  Sell TI projects and write comprehensive estimates for executing the work
-  Perform contract negotiations and secure signed contracts
-  Assemble subcontractors, schedules, and budgets for proper hand off to production
-  Provide weekly updates on your sales pipeline, networking activities and sales results which ties into the sales goals, milestones and benchmarks for success you formulated in the above sales strategy



Skills/Qualifications:

-  Minimum of 3 years success as commercial tenant improvement salesperson/estimator
-  Local book of business
-  Working knowledge and comprehension of blue prints and plans
-  Negotiation skills
-  Contract administration
-  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-  Strong math skills
-  Strong computer skills
-  Motivated multi-tasker who is extremely neat and organized, intelligent and takes pride in delivering high quality customer service


 

Compensation:

-  Commission only
