We are a small but busy and well-respected custom swimming pool construction company with over 35-years experience located in the San Fernando Valley and are currently in need of a smart, energetic, and highly motivated employee to manage our office. Experience is desired; however, if you meet our listed criteria below in office skills and management, please feel free to send us your resume.  The candidate needs to be aware that we may have up to 40 projects active at any given time which will require the candidate to possess an excellent memory and ability to multi-task. The candidate should be able to work with clients accustomed to the best in service and products, coordinate with subcontractors for scheduling phases of pool construction, and successfully track all jobs.  Hours are 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Hours are not negotiable.  This position is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for an opportunity to advance within a small company.  It is a salaried position and includes excellent health benefits and retirement.  Starting salary range is approximately $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 to be adjusted upward after the first 3 months of employment depending on work performance.

 

Abilities:

 

Candidate would be responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and monitoring all phases of pool construction including bidding, plan submittals, permits, inspections, and overseeing subcontractors.  Candidate must be able to demonstrate the following:

 

ü  Good communication skills – written and verbal.

ü  Good computer skills, including proficiency in:

§  Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook).

§  Quickbooks.

ü  Construction scheduling: subcontractors, employees, inspections, and provide daily progress reports.

ü  Possess a “Take charge” personality.

ü  Work well under pressure and deadlines.

ü  A positive attitude.

ü  Ability to multi-task with customers, contractors, and other employees.

ü  Strong attention to detail.

ü  Confident and mature communication skills.
