HazTek Inc. is a premium provider of occupational health and safety training and consulting services.  Our clients are primarily engineering and construction firms who work at pharmaceutical facilities, refineries, power plants and environmental remediation companies doing hazardous waste site clean-ups.  Providing our clients with Project Health and Safety Managers and performing various OSHA training programs are our most critical services.

 

We're currently seeking an experienced full-time, experienced Health and Safety Officer/Manager who has worked on commercial construction sites overseeing all aspects of safety. 

 

The responsibilities of the Health and Safety Officer/Manager may include:

 Oversee all aspects of a Commercial Construction project ensuring OSHA complianceConduct daily safety meetingsFill out accident reports and conduct accident investigationsEnsuring all personnel are wearing their personal protective equipmentDaily site audits and inspectionsOversee all subcontractors and contractorsInspection of power tools and some heavy equipmentWrite job hazard analysis (JHA's)Look up OSHA regulations in the 1926 manualMust have experience with Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, Excavation

 

Qualified applicants will possess the following:

 3-5 years direct construction or safety experience required10 or 30 hour OSHA Construction Safety certification 40 Hour HAZWOPER a plusFirst Aid/CPR certifiedExperience working on commercial construction projectsExpert in Construction and Construction Safety Standards
