Position Role:

We are looking for an experienced Contracts Administrator who enjoys working in a fast paced environment to join our team.  This full time position will be responsible for the negotiation, preparation, tracking and finalization of construction contracts, business partnership agreements, corporate contracts, confidentiality agreements and liaison functions with attorneys, title companies and business partners. 

 

Duties include but are not limited to:

·          Coordinate and track status of agreements and amendments.

·          Process agreements for execution and ensure that signed copies of all contracts are scanned to corporate shared drive and closing binders prepared appropriately.

·          File all fully executed contracts within the contracts filing system and ensure files are audit ready.

·          Comprehend and make reasonable, lay-person interpretations of contract provisions to help resolve claims and questions submitted by contract parties.

·          Monitor ongoing compliance to contract requirements.  Ensure all conditions of contracts are satisfied before approval of the final invoice.

 

Skill  & Practical Experience Requirements:

·          Proficient in negotiation, writing and interpreting contractual agreements.

·          Ability to work independently, creative thinking and problem solving skills.

·          Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required.

·          Ability to maintain strong and effective relationships with internal and external clients as related to real estate contracts administration.

·          Understanding of real estate law, contract law and related legal concepts including practical application in a business environment.

·          Ability to work in a team oriented environment, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

·          Ability to work extended hours when necessary.

·          Minimum of 5 years relevant legal and real estate experience required, preferably in contract review and negotiation.
