Cost Estimator

COST ESTIMATORS WANTED

 

Due to the continued success of nationwide operations, Rider Levett Bucknall Ltd. is seeking Cost Estimators (Senior, Junior and Graduate levels) in its Denver location.  The position of Cost Estimator includes:

 

· Preparation of estimates, cost plans, cost strategies, change order reviews and valuations of work in progress and bid analyses;

 

· Preparation of value engineering studies;

 

· Negotiations with contractors;

 

· Meeting with clients to review status of work; and

 

· Sr. Estimator:  Coordination and management of cost estimating team.

 

 Qualifications:

 

· Bachelor’s Degree or recent experience in Construction Management, Architectural Engineering, Cost Estimating or related field; background in Quantity Surveying preferred but not essential.

· Excellent communication and verbal skills.

· Experience with estimating software systems and the ability to prepare estimates in accordance with Masterformat and Uniformat system guidelines.
