Primary Function We are looking for the right candidate to provide support to the Credit Manager. Key Responsibilities • Release orders within predetermined parameters. • Authorize jobs within predetermined parameters in the event of Credit Manager’s absence. • Track and protect lien and bond rights. • Process requests for credit references. • Assist with processing legal files. • Assist with processing write-off files. • Forward credit applications to Operations Center and follow up on same. • Knowledge of various types of security instruments. • Reconcile accounts and write credits as appropriate. • Process various customer and risk reports and highlight areas of concern. • Communicate with customers as needed. • Maintain customer files, including filing, making copies, etc. • Make changes to customer accounts within predetermined parameters. • Handle incoming telephone calls to Credit Manager. • Other duties as assigned. Professional Skills • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. • Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers. • Excellent at prioritization and multi-tasking. Able to work with multiple deadlines. • Proficient on a PC and with creating spreadsheets and other reports. • Excellent attention to detail and follow-up skills. Experience Previous background should include general business and prior administrative experience.
