Customer Service Rep/Team Lead

A national manufacturer and installer of wooden storage and recreational buildings is seeking a Customer Service Representative at our corporate office in Monroe MI.

The primary responsibilities include:

-Provide all customers (end users, retailers, and dealers) with timely answers to order status while communicating within the team environment. 

-Position plays an important role in fielding and resolving calls from all customer groups on inquiries such as pricing and product assembly.  Often requires patience in resolving the inquiries through problem solving over the phone.

-Ability to turn frustrated customers into a win for them and the company. 

-Responsible for enhancing the customer's experience, which will contribute to sales growth.

-Resolving customer inquiries to reduce the number of returned goods.

-Leading current and new processes within the team by assisting Customer Service Manager in coaching and training the Customer Service Team.

-Backup to the Customer Service Manager with miscellaneous tasks, such as various report metrics and daily customer service meetings. 

 

Hours:

Full-time.  Includes early evening hours. Some Saturdays required.

 

Requirements:

2+ years of order processing and prior customer service experience.  Call center experience is a plus.  2+ years in a supervisory or team lead position.  Must have excellent organizational skills, effective communication skills (both written and verbal), detail oriented, fast paced in data entry, possess the ability to cross-train in other tasks, and able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook is highly desirable.
