JOB TITLE: Director of Land Development/Forward Planning

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

A leading developer is seeking a Director of Land Development/Forward Planning to join their team.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Obtain land for development

· Work to identify development opportunities

· Follow through with all negotiations and due diligence

· Reports to the VP of Land Acquisitions

· Work with brokers, planners, land use attorneys, etc. to identify new acquisition opportunities

· Conduct field work and site reconnaissance in pursuit of available properties

· Conducts market analyses

· Source and close real estate transactions of all kinds (ex. Land sales, consulting agreements, financing terms, entitlement agreements, etc.)

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Bachelors Degree

· 5+ years real estate transaction experience

· Strong administrative ability

· Computer skills

· Sound understanding of real estate transactions and development entitlements
