Pro Build is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable professional to participate in the design, roll-out and long-term support of an Oracle financials system for our $5B, 560-location company. The successful candidate will have a degree and 4-7 years of experience in an accounts receivable function that includes:

 Very high volume of receivables including work-in-progress.In a distributed company with a large number of selling locations (we have over 500)Regular professional, positive interactions with customers, company sales professionals, business managers, credit managers and collections agents.A sustained focus on process improvement, accuracy and standardization efforts that have resulted in positive and measurable gains.

 

If you have had an enjoyable experience helping develop an Oracle, JD Edwards or similar accounting system as a functional expert, you will love this role.

 

Purpose/Objective:

 

This position will support a large Oracle ERP Implementation project by providing the business expertise and implementation support for Accounts Receivables.  This person will work to design and develop business requirements, work with users on conference room pilots and tests, and help with the deployment of the system to financial users.

 

Once deployed, this position will provide long-term support, participate in system enhancements, help to deploy and train new users on the system as they are added to the company.

 

Required Education and Experience:

 

· Successful candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; GAAP knowledge required

· 4-7 years experience in accounts receivables in an environment like the one described above

· Experience with large-company distributed accounting systems preferred

· Involvement in 1+ projects implementing ERP software, reports or other systems required

· Ability to synthesize information and draw conclusions

· Strong analytical skills

· Good interviewing and facilitation skills

· Ability to work collaboratively with business users, other team members and technical experts

· Understanding of related business areas (upstream / downstream)

· Flexible and open to change and ambiguity

 

Working Environment:Fast-paced environment, Moderate travel (10-15%) required
