Entry Level Driller

This is an entry level driller trainee position. You will be working outside in all weather conditions learning how to operate heavy equipment or instrumentation in order to drill for natural gas and oil. We are also offering training positions which service the aftermath production after a site has been drilled for natural gas and oil. Other services provided include pipeline, specialty chemical, and offshore drilling in select geographic markets. Schedules vary depending on availability and location, but typically you will either work seven days on, and seven days off; or fourteen days on, and seven days off. There are local positions available which would enable you to be home every night. All travel, lodging, and food are company paid. Relocation assistance is provided by the company. Company pays for CDL training if you don’t already have your CDL. First year salary is minimum $45,000-$50,000 depending on location and schedule. Potential during first year is up to $100,000

Responsibilities:

Servicing duties will range from driving a transport vehicle to well site locations, hooking up iron and hoses, rigging up, rigging down, and various other industrial tasks. Job is 80% labor working outdoors in climatic weather and 20% driving. Driller duties include performing tasks that are required for rigging up, rigging down, drilling anywhere from 6,000 to 21,000 feet, working outside in sometimes harsh weather conditions, all while maintaining consistent communication with all personnel. You will be expected to maintain all safety programs and enforce your commitment to safety on a daily basis.
