Our continued growth has produced a need for a Portables Technician in our Denver, CO location.RESPONSIBILITIES:  •  Inspections and maintenance of Fire Suppression Systems •  Generate leads for Total Service Contracts •  Sales of Emergency Lights, Restaurant and Industrial suppression systems•  Complete paperwork in a timely and neat fashion.REQUIREMENTS:  •  Strong Mechanical background•  Positive attitude and a desire to achieve results•  Strong organizational skills with the ability to learn quickly •  Valid drivers license with a positive Motor Vehicle Report•  Must be able to pass pre-employment Drug screen and background check.•  Must be able to lift/move equipment and tools weighing up to 60 pounds.•  Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders; scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working in ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.   MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:•  Good written and oral communication skills. •  Proficient in the use of personal computers to include operating systems such as Window XP / NT / 2003 •  2 years outside sales experience desirable •  Experience in Kitchen Fire Systems a plus  SimplexGrinnell offers an exceptional compensation and benefits package that includes educational assistance, matching 401(k) plans and Incentive opportunities in a highly charged but friendly work environment.
