PURPOSE
The Human Resources Generalist is a key role which manages the administration of the human resource policies, programs and procedures, general office management, and administrative support of accounting functions. Our HR Generalist works directly with our Executive Management team to ensure employee satisfaction, safety and welfare, and general compliance issues are maintained throughout the organization.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
The main focus of this role will include the management of the employee Benefit Plans, Payroll, Recruiting, and general office management. This will include administering and maintaining all Benefits Plans including: stock plan, 401(k) plan, Section 125 plan, medical/dental/vision plan, vacation and sick leave and the company’s supplemental insurance plan. Recruiting and New Hire Orientation, and maintaining of personnel records and processing multi-state semi-monthly Payroll will also be the incumbent’s responsibility. The incumbent will also assist our accounting team with A/R, invoicing and bookkeeping.

Qualified candidates will possess progressive work experience in the area of human resources and will have had experience in: benefits administration, payroll and recruitment. Candidates should possess a minimum three years experience as an HR Generalist and have experience managing in an office environment. The incumbent must have strong proficiency and/or experience with Payroll and accounting including: AP, AR, general ledger and/or general bookkeeping. Proficiency with MS Office with an emphasis on Excel, Word and Outlook is a must. This is a dynamic role and the ideal candidate will possess self-starting skills and outstanding interpersonal skills. Attention to detail, organization, and the ability to multitask are also key attributes to the successful incumbent.
