HVAC Estimator

Air Stream Air Conditioning Corp. is an HVAC contracting company engaged in business in the New York City Metro Area, Long Island, New Jersey and Westchester.  Air Stream Air Conditioning leads the industry in performing diversified Commercial and Industrial HVAC work for general contractors, real estate management firms, as well as all commercially owned properties.  Our expertise and experience allows us to use the latest technology and state-of-the-art equipment in servicing all types of mechanical systems. 

 

We are affiliated with Enterprise Association Steamfitters Local Union 638, United Association, AFL-CIO.  We provide each and every one of our customers with customized service utilizing our fleet of 35 service vehicles. 

 

Our customized preventive maintenance program allows us to provide quality service designed specifically for each individual HVAC operating system.  Air Stream also employs a full installation department complete with Project Managers, Engineers, and Installation crews.  Our installation capabilities include but are not limited to:

 

· Plan and Specifications Installations

· Custom Design/Build Installations

· Value Engineering Installation



We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC estimator whose responsibilities include:
Reviewing plans and specifications and compiling accurate computerized estimates in a timely manner. Solid understanding of contract plans and specifications - ability to determine scope of work and required contents of a complete estimate Ability to review design options and recommend best solution based on cost, engineering quality, or availability of materials

 

Additional Skill Requirements:

· Computer skills including Word and Email (Outlook)

· Multi-tasking

· Strong verbal and letter writing

 

Pay is Commensurate with Experience/Pension Plan/Full Benefits
