HVAC and/or Electrician Instructor FT or PT

HVAC or/and Electrician INSTRUCTOR Full-time or Part-time

 

Would you enjoy sharing your knowledge and skills as an HVAC or Electrician with our dedicated students?  As an Instructor you will provide your students with the skills and knowledge necessary to obtain entry-level employment in the HVAC or Electrician field. 

 

Job Duties Include:

Provide students with a complete syllabus containing course objectives on the first day of class.

Present enthusiastic, well prepared, organized, and clear lectures and classroom activities consistent with the course syllabus.
Continually promote the development and effective use of skills in areas such as critical and analytical thinking, evaluation, communication, computation, problem solving and decision-making.
Provide the student with timely information and feedback on his/her academic progress relative to quizzes, tests, homework and projects.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of student academic and attendance performance.

Possess a thorough knowledge and understanding of all school policies, and actively participate in their implementation and enforcement.

 

Minimum requirements include:


Bachelor's Degree. 3 years experience in HVAC or Electrician including demonstrated competencies in all areas.
 

Ability to be highly organized, & detail oriented

Excellent persuasive communication skills

Ability to interact effectively and professionally with students, parents, staff & faculty

Consistently display the highest levels of integrity

Exceptional social & customer focused skills

Prior career-school experience

Teaching experience a plus, but not necessary

Proven record of achievement

 

Preferred: Prior teaching experience.
