The Company

Graco Distributors is a wholesale Distributor of Building Materials and Hearth Products based in Mooresville, NC.  The Company has been servicing the Carolinas, Southern Virginia and Eastern Tennessee for the past 21 years.  We offer quality products such as Majestic Fireplaces and Vermont Casting Stoves to Specialty Hearth and Gas Retailers.  We also offer Cultured Stone for the Building Material Industry to Stone Yards and Building Supply stores.  We operate out of an 84,000 square foot warehouse and have an excellent team in customer service and the warehouse to support our sales staff.

 

The Position

Respected and growing distributor of high quality hearth products is searching for a qualified Hearth Sales Manager to manage and grow an exciting business. The successful applicant will possess solid hearth industry experience, as well as strong communication, problem solving and personal time management skills.  The person we hire will be responsible for increasing sales and maintaining relationships with our existing customer base in addition to developing new customers in those areas we do not have adequate coverage. The candidate we seek should not only possess good selling and hearth technical skills, but be detail-oriented, have great organizational and follow up skills, be willing to learn new products and understand the importance of maintaining the company’s integrity and professionalism at all times.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Territory

North and South Carolina, Southern Virginia and Eastern Tennessee.  The candidate should anticipate approximately 2-3 nights a week overnight travel depending on the location of their home base.  The ideal location for our sales representative would be the Charlotte area.

 

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years outside sales experience in the Hearth Industry.

Have the ability to communicate well with all levels of customers from counter sales, salesmen, purchasing agents, to the owner.

Be able to close sales independently.

Have the ability to learn new products and assist customers in their understanding of our different lines.

Exhibit great time management and planning skills.

Be a team player.

Have the desire and ability to meet and exceed sales goals set by the company.

Be able to provide technical support to our customer base.

 

Compensation
