Human Resource Assistant

We are currently seeking a talented, detailed orientated individual to serve as a Human Resource Assistant. This individual will assist the HR Manager with all aspects of HR Operations in a company with 200 employees across the nine branches. Duties include, but are limited to,

  Data entry Payroll processing Reconciling payroll data for general ledger Distribution of payroll across the state Benefit orientation, enrollment and reconciliation of billings General employee inquiries Some recruitment duties - reference checking, screening applications Creation of reports for management utilization General support for Human Resource Manager

Attention to detail is paramount, and accuracy is a must - as this individual will be tasked with many numbers-related tasks daily. The ability to prioritize and balance multiple duties simultaneously is required. Occasional travel - with trips between our Dallas and Ft. Worth branches (as necessary), and potential for once per year traveling to ALL branches to conduct our Open Enrollment activities. This individual takes direction from the HR Manager, but must display initiative and be a self-starter. Discretion and confidentiality are a must with regard to this position, as this position is privy to private health information and confidental salary information. This individual will calculate commissions and have primary responsibility for data entry and payroll processing (biweekly, commission, bonus). Preference will be given to candidates with an degree in Human Resources or Accounting. This is an immediate vacancy and we are actively seeking the perfect candidate at this time.
