Providing temperature-controlled environments for food and other perishables are essential in today’s global market. Through our Climate Control Technologies sector and Thermo King and Hussmann brands, we provide global solutions for the transportation and retail refrigeration market.





We are currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist - West at our Houston, TX location.



This position encompasses the following :


Administer HR policies, procedures and strategic that balance the needs of the western zone’s business objectives with employee needs. Manage labor contract compliance and grievance resolution.
Provide leadership and technical direction to assure that HR is viewed as an excellent source of problem resolution, teamwork support and fairness/diversity.
Ensure that HR practices/policies are in compliance with state and federal regulations; and that actions are legally defensible. Support right-sizing efforts and communications.
Develop and coordinate training efforts for all employees that meet the changing skills or cultural needs of the organization.
Facilitate the western zone’s communication strategies to ensure that employee are knowledgeable and supportive of western zone’s goals and objectives.
Guide and direct team development within the zone organization, coordinate steering committee and sponsor support for organizational changes and business initiatives.
This position can be located at Hussmann Branch located in Houston or Dallas, Texas.



Qualifications :

BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in specific areas such as wage/salary, labor law, employment practices, etc.
5 years experience in HR with 2 or more years in a field environment.
