Network Manager

Dukane Precast, a leading precast/prestressed concrete products producer is currently seeking a hands-on Network Manager for our locations in the Western Suburbs.  This position will be involved in supporting and continually seeking to improve our LAN and WAN operations including the health and maintenance of the network and Windows 2003 Active Directory infrastructure.  Will have primary administration responsibilities for all Windows based Servers, Routers and Firewalls and will have ultimate responsibility for network performance and availability.  This position supervises one direct report.

 

Requirements include:

· Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, computer science or equivalent experience.

· 8+ years of technical hands-on network administration & troubleshooting.  Proficient in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Windows 2003 AD.  Hands-on network engineering, Cisco IOS, IP-SEC VPN’s and other network hardware.  Expert knowledge of Exchange server 2003 & Outlook.  Experience with configuration and support of Windows Domain Controllers.  Strong technical focus & Problem solving skills “Customer Service” oriented and good communication skills Supervisory experience

 

Additional preferred qualifications:

 Microsoft certification/or training; MCSA or MCSE preferredExperience with Telco/PBX systems (especially VOIP)Blackberry Enterprise Server and associated devicesExperience with Symantec or other corporate anti-virus solutionsExperience in a manufacturing environment with PLC a plusExposure to CCTV/ Access control & other security hardware a plus.
