Operations Manager - Landscape Construction

A dynamic, rapidly-growing, reputable leader in the custom residential landscape construction and installation industry needs a take-charge individual with proven Administrative and Leadership abilities to contribute to the strategic development of this organization.  Knowledge and experience in landscape construction and horticulture is essential. You will be responsible for leading and directing all functional areas of this mid-Peninsula based organization.  You will work with some of the brightest individuals in the industry and report directly to the President. 

 

Essential Functions:

 Supervising and scheduling Field Supervisors and operations;Ensuring excellent customer relations with our high-end residential clientele;Directing and monitoring management processes to implement strategic and operational goals and objectives;Establishing quality-control procedures for all projects; Organizing and directing all departmental functions to ensure timely and profitable completion of all projects;Creating and maintaining a dynamic and vibrant company environment with the goal of continuous improvement, innovative products and services, and ultimate customer satisfaction;Ensuring compliance with various government laws, rules and regulations 

Experience Desired:

 Five (5) plus years of Management duties in similar organizations;Four year degree in Construction Managment or related discipline preferred; Verifiable knowledge of landscape construction  is required;Proven ability to hold subordinates responsible and to take proactive corrective actions;Verifiable leadership accomplishments regarding human capital management and profitable/effective operations;Ability to interact and produce results with employees, supervisors,  and customers;Experience in and/or knowledge of Horticulture helpful.
