Outside Sales Representative

Regional floor covering distributor is seeking an outside sales representative to cover the Richmond - Charlottesville region.

The position requires that the person develop new accounts, service existing accounts, assemble displays, present new product lines and handle problems as they arise. The candidate needs to be able to think on his(her) feet, follow up on commitments and grow a sales territory. Customers are frequent buyers, so the person must be skilled at building and maintaining relationships. The applicant must have his(her) own vehicle.

Knowledge of the floor covering or building materials industry is helpful, but is not a requirement.
