Outside Sales Representatives

An Ohio based commercial building material wholesale company is looking for an Outside Sales Representatives for the Cleveland/Akron area.  This position would assist the company in supporting sales of Armstrong Commercial Acoustical product lines and other leading manufacturers of drywall, metal studs and insulation.  The Outside Sales Rep will maintain customer relationships and assist the sales team in meeting their goals.  This is an excellent position for go-getters wishing to develop significant sales and marketing skills, plus build knowledge in commercial construction products.  Travel is required within the Cleveland/Akron area.  Salary is base + commission 



 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for all aspects of customer relations visiting job sites as needed and following up on customer quotes. Aggressively purses leads on subcontractor job information by making phone calls and customer visits. Develop, create and manage sale opportunities to increase sales of product line.  Accountable for selective entertainment for customers where it deems beneficial. Develop and maintain competitive knowledge on industry and products.


QUALIFICATIONS:
College degree preferred 2-4 years experience selling to commercial contractors, facilities and architects  Excellent interpersonal skills and strong verbal and written communication Aggressive self-starter with a great attitude and excellent organizational skills
