Summary Description:

Mechanical Services Firm seeking an project manager/estimator for its multi-family (MF) construction division.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

You will lead the multi-family division for established Central-Texas plumbing contractor, performing quantity take off’s, productivity estimates, prepare hard bids from plans and specifications.  In this position you will manage and coordinate multiple concurrent plumbing projects personally from estimation through field installation.  Manage all change order activity, oversee contractual obligations with owners, general contractors and subcontractors, coordinate project schedules and track contractor’s delivery of areas for our work.  Expect to coordinate with purchasing on the ordering and material delivery scheduling, work up submittals, warranty sheets /books and general project paperwork.

 

Experience and Skill Requirements:

– Licensed Journeyman or Master Plumber (prefer Texas)

– Good computer skills

– Prefer 5+ years of progressive multi-family experience

– Prefer MF project experience in the State of Texas, and experience with utilities  

 

Education:

College degree is helpful, but not required.  Lack of formal education, can be offset by ample field experience.
