Project Manager / Client Representative

We are currently seeking a Project Manager (PM) for an off site project at Florida Tech in Melbourne, FL.  The project work includes the development, design and construction of Residence Halls, Food Service Facility, Parking Structure, Aquaculture Lab and Swim Facility.   The Project Manager will act in a role of client liaison in regards to the construction scope of work, holding the responsibility of a proactive agent representing the client’s core interests and objectives.  In executing this role, the PM will assist in risk management and assessment of construction process, procedures, and deliverables. The PM will be in charge of safety and quality assurance and auditing field work to guarantee performance complies with the contract documents.  The PM will be expected to keep daily reports of inspections, job walks, correspondence, safety reviews, and all other pertinent information regarding the project.  The PM should have knowledge and / or experience with each on of these tasks before applying for the position.   Meeting Management Design Development Contract Management Request for Information Auditing (RFI) Constructability Review Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) Schedule Management Logistical Management Site Safety and Security Management Management of Deliverables Cost and Invoice Management Contingency and/or Change Order Management Closeout Review Start-up and CommissioningREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • 5-10 years construction experience; strong written and verbal communication skills; strong leadership skills; abiltiy to interface with clients; well spoken, articulate and professional; willingness to travel when needed Please apply online via the company website or by clicking on this link: http://tbe.taleo.net/NA2/ats/careers/requisition.jsp?org=SYSKA&cws=1&rid=121
