AND THEY TAKE CARE OF THEIR EMPLOYEES!  They recently gave an extra week of vacation to every employee with a paid trip for 2 to a choice of 6 different exotic destinations….just to say thanks!   OPPORTUNITYMagee Resource Group has been retained to locate and qualify a Project Manager with approximately 6 to 9 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have the ability to provide overall management for pre-construction activities and work with the Superintendent to ensure successful project completion and client satisfaction.REQUIREMENTS--Bachelors Degree in construction related field or equivalent  --Program Management experience in a CM@Risk or self-performing GC environment.  --All commercial  experience including healthcare, hospitality, corporate, education, etc. $15 million or higher.  MUST HAVE SEEN PROJECT FROM START TO FINISH, not just completed one phase or aspect of a project.  Estimating and/or preconstruction experience is required!!--Travel in and around Chicago and its suburbs.  -- Accurate project estimates from conception through construction working with Superintendent to ensure project is kept within budget.  --Overall project bidding activities.  -- Development of initial schedule for estimating and bidding; thereafter working with Superintendent as necessary.  --Negotiate, award, write and enforce contracts.  -- Ensuring bond and insurance requirement compliance.  -- Maintaining subcontractor relations and assisting with any conflict(s).  --Coordination of various office departments’ support as projects require.  --Coordination of close-out activities on a timely basis.
