Project Manager - Fire Protection Industry

Detection & Suppression International, LTD is currently hiring fire protection professionals for the following positions:

Houston, Texas - Fire Alarm / Suppression System Project Manager:  Manage multiple Fire Detection/Suppression system projects in a cost effective manner that comply with project specifications and current applicable codes and are installed with quality workmanship. Supervise installers and technicians in the installation department and allocate those resources as necessary to achieve the company goals of delivering a quality product at a profitable margin. 

 

Must have comprehensive knowledge of the construction industry. Experienced in handling multiple projects at once. Prefer Fire Alarm/Suppression experience with NICET certification. Must have excellent people skills and very good computer skills. Texas Fire Alarm and/or Fire Suppression license a definite plus.



Houston, Texas - Fire Alarm / Suppression System Technician: Must be experienced in the installation, checkout, and start up of sophisticated fire detection and suppression systems.

 

Position requires experience. Background checks will also be required. We are seeking career-oriented individuals who are highly motivated and who strive to provide excellent customer service while building long-term relationships.

Detection & Suppression International is a “Turn Key” fire protection company based in Houston, Texas servicing Texas, Georgia, Oregon, and is actively working through out the country. We offer fire suppression and detection system design, sales, installation, and testing for all new projects as well as inspections and service to existing systems. DSI offers an excellent benefits package including medical and dental insurance and 401(k). Salary/Commission is commensurate with experience. Travel is occasionally required. Current projects that are out of state are in Portland, Oregon and Atlanta, Georgia. Salary and per-diem expenses are included when traveling.
