Project Manager - HVAC Construction

Purpose

Oversees day to day operations and management of projects by performing the tasks & responsibilities below. General

Type of Position: Full-Time Tasks and Responsibilities Creates, executes and manages to project work plans and scope and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. (%%) Identifies needs and assigns individual resources. (%%) Ensures all project documentation, tracking and archives are complete, current, and stored. (%%) Reviews deliverables prepared by team prior to passing onto client. (%%) Effectively applies company methodologies and enforces project standards. (%%) Prepares for engagement reviews, post mortem and quality assurance procedures (%%) Act as mentor for Assistant Project Managers (%%) Manages overall project budget and financial metrics including: Tracking and reporting team hours and expenses weekly. (%%) Determining appropriate revenue recognition, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and receivables management. (%%) Assists in collection for project receivables over 45 days (%%) Manages to overall project budget and financial targets, completing projects on time and on budget. (%%) Backfills as appropriate/needed for vacant Direct Reports’ position(s). (%%) Provides feedback regarding continuous process improvement efforts to meet and exceed company standards. (%%) Education and Experience Required High School Graduate or Equivalent 5 years conceptual project experience 2 Years GC/MC Industry Preferred Skills Required Knowledge of best practice MC and GC technical procedures and methods Knowledge of best Project Management methodologies and tools Proficiency with office productivity tools and financial management systems Excellent organization, facilitation, analytical, verbal and written communication skills with significant attention to detail Valid NJ State Driver’s License Travel Percentage Up to 75% travel This position has an option for telecommuting up to 15% of time Physical Requirements Must be able to lift 35 pounds, and be able to sit and stand for long periods of time Must have good vision an hearing Reports To
