SALES SECRETARY

Job Overview:In this position you would be secretary to 2-3 sales representatives. Your daily responsibilities will include considerable data entry, letter and contract typing. Good telephone skills a must. Established log home construction company (32 years). Growing, fast-paced environment. Great group of dedicated, hard-working employees. Non-smoking environment. Benefit Package:Health Insurance, Sick Pay, Paid Vacation, 401K Job Purpose:Enhances sales department effectiveness by providing secretarial services; maintaining sales promotion materials; helping customers.Duties: * Produces sales information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying and transmitting sales text, data, and graphics. * Maintains customer data base with necessary information. * Produces letters, proposals, contracts relating to customer's requests and requirements. * Maintains sales promotion materials by monitoring supplies, anticipating needs, suggesting updates in materials; sending orders to printers; monitoring delivery due dates. * Prepares monthly sales reports by consolidating regional reports into corporate summary format. * Maintains customer communication by updating customer mailing lists and phone/fax/e-mail lists. * Provides historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems; recording meeting discussions and commitments. * Improves sales quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; recommending changes. * Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; participating in professional organizations. * Accomplishes sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed.Skills/Qualifications:Administrative Writing Skills, Telephone Skills, Reporting Skills, Supply Management, Scheduling, Professionalism, Attention to Detail, Data Entry Skills, OrganizationAdditional Requirements:Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
