Sales Representative-Sioux Falls

Are you a highly motivated and goal oriented sales professional, who has a mechanical aptitude?

The Sioux Falls, SD location is currently seeking an individual who can aggressively identify and secure service contracts & repair work on a full line of elevator & escalator equipment manufactured by ThyssenKrupp Elevator and  its competitors.  The Service & Repair Sales Representative is responsible for exceeding or meeting monthly sales quotas by maintaining and growing the customer base; utilizing sales techniques to up-sell to current customers & cold call on prospective customers; preparing proposals to bid on new jobs; delivering presentations; negotiating prices & other terms; completing paperwork & reports; and developing & maintaining strong relationships with new & existing customers. The sales territory is South Dakota and you will report to the Fargo, ND office.



A high school diploma or GED is required.  A Bachelor’s degree is preferred but equivalent sales experience may be considered.  A minimum of two (2) years experience in industrial, outside sales is desirable.  Must be highly motivated, aggressive, have a positive attitude & good mechanical aptitude.  This position has a high degree of autonomy so  you must be self-disciplined and motivated to learn the business and develop solid customer relationships.  Excellent communication, negotiation, organization and time management skills are necessary.  Good MS Office skills. Previous elevator industry experience is a plus.
