Senior Project Manager-Mixed Use Construction

FLORIDA EXPERIENCE A MUST!

Developer with diverse portfolio and substantial interest in high density housing and mixed use residential construction seeks a team leader who will provide visible leadership in the construction progress, and represent the Owner at the site.

Our PM will liaise with engineering and construction personnel to ensure concerns & requirements are timely addressed; review plans; schedule and work for consistent construction and billing; interpret drawings and specs; monitor and report daily progress to Owner; ensure compliance in obtaining permits and ensure that project is built in accordance with construction docs; monitor site to evaluate progress with scheduling and costs; adhere to job requirements, Owner’s satisfaction and safety performance; assist Owner with the pre-construction request for Contractor proposals (the “RFP”), proposal evaluation and review and contract award.



Qualified candidates will have the majority of the following experience:

 

- 7+ years of PM experience building projects similar to the project types listed above

- BS Degree in related field

- ability to develop solid working relationships w/ superintendents & project stakeholders

- ability to oversee multiple people & tasks at any given moment

- ability to read & understand drawings, specs & contracts

- excellent written communication & negotiating skills

- attention to detail and project documentation

- initiative to make the project happen, not let the project happen

- initiative to search out the most reasonable cost

- solid organizational & management skills

- ability to demonstrate pricing that is win-win based

- stable employment background & work history

- excellent references from recent & past direct senior management

- proficiency in spreadsheet based estimating or estimating with software like Timberline.

- Proficiency with project management support software such as SureTrak/MS Project & Expedition/Prolog
