SHOWROOM SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

We are seeking an energetic, flexible individual to join our company in a number of our product showrooms.  The Showroom educates homeowners on the features and choices of windows, doors, decking, siding, and roofing products we distribute and assists them in selecting products. 

 

Key ResponsibilitiesRespond to customer inquiries in person and over the phone Demonstrate product features through use of full-size displays Help match homeowners with our preferred contractors, converting showroom visitors into Harvey sales. Present design ideas based on preference, needs and budget Attend day to day operations of the showroom: housekeeping and inventory management Cultivate working relationships with warehousing, manufacturing, corporate and outside sales staffNo pricing or sales involved - main objective is to work with homeowner and contractor to help "move the sale along."



Required SkillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills Basic computer software skills including familiarity with the internet, email and MS Office software Flexibility and ability to multi-task Desire to continually expand upon knowledge of building products in order to provide best possible service to our customers Attention to detail and willingness to follow-up is required Retail experience helpful
