Technical Document Clerk

We are a high profile NYC Contractor working on NYC’s largest projects,Office Towers, High Rise Apartment Buildings, Schools, Hospitals and more.

 

We are seeking a bright individual for an entry-level position in our engineering and drafting department. Must be conscientious with a desire to advance in our company.

 

Responsibilities: Scan blueprints for printing and distributing File blue print and construction documents for both paper & digital Maintain document logs for both paper and computerized (Spread Sheets & Data Based) Maintain construction document archives Assist Head Draftsman with clerical and other office duties

 

Qualifications: Associates Degree or Some College credit or Equivalent Technical Schooling 1 to 2 years of general office or administrative experience Detail oriented, able to carry out directions and work as a team player Any experience with Architectural engineering or Construction documents is a plus Computer literate with working knowledge of Word, Excel & Access Physical requirements (able to lift 50-60 lbs.)as plan sets/drawings can be slightly heavy
