Somero Enterprises is aggressively promoting new products for the building industry in 2008 ... impacting the concrete placing marketplace with the best concrete leveling equipment available. Are you the one to contribute to that growth?
By offering a wide range of concrete leveling, contouring and placing equipment in every significant building/construction market, Somero is a catalyst for growth. Do you see yourself in those markets, dominating them with persistence, professionalism and a thorough understanding of the business?
You are a high performance sales person who makes a positive change in the way your customers do business.
You must have prior success in creating sales in the corporate/industrial arena while impacting large to small construction businesses. You conceptualize innovative concrete construction machinery and are comfortable selling to individuals at all levels of small and large organizations. You understand selling high ticket, construction equipment to senior management as well as on-site supervisors. Sales position requires a combination of selling conceptually while delivering a very sound technical solution. Your sales cycle ranges from 2 -3 calls to as long as four months. Yet you know that while the market may be resistant due to the status quo, you know that your product will impact the way the builder creates the strongest foundation available every time.
You must be willing to prospect nationwide, looking for prospects in every aspect of the building industry. Because you are a highly motivated salesman, you like working with a team to successfully discover new markets and opportunities for equipment where old methods prevail because of a lack of innovation. You must be have strong closing skills, based on keen business listening skills, an analytical mind that solves tough construction problems – and the ability to create a win-win situation.
Because you are a road warrior who is enthused by the construction industry, you know to make those relationships work; you will be traveling up to 80% of the time. To grow the business, you know that constant prospecting into new accounts as well as networking ensure your success. You have experience in the construction business or selling capital equipment.
Finally, since you will be working with the market leader, you understand that the pressure to produce is great, but so is the reward. You must be used to making at least $95,000 annually and generating better than two million in revenue.
