United Building Products, a Regional Waterproofing Distributor for the Southwestern States, is looking for a Territory Sales Manager to service the Central Texas that will be based in San Antonio, TX. The role of the part, Territory Sales Manager is to run his/her territory assigned by successfully growing sales and profit for United Building Products.Applicants must have a high school diploma or a GED. It is preferred that applicants have a college degree and previous sales experience. Experience in this industry is preferred. Must have excellent interpersonal skills, good organizational abilities, be able to work independently, have a strong work ethic, and have exceptional relationship building/communication attributes. The position also requires the ability to learn and retain technical product knowledge and to be able to communicate this knowledge to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
· Prospecting new accounts and maintaining customer satisfaction
· Develop and maintain good customer relationships, through personal visits and telephone contact
· Provide management with objectives for specific accounts and strategies to increase the business in assigned territory
· Interact with customers to motivate the selling of our products
· Maintains relationships, negotiates and closes deals
· File weekly and monthly reports in a timely manner
· Maintain sales forecasting and achieves monthly and yearly performance goals accordingly
· Ability to sell Waterproofing Products (no experience necessary)
· Required ongoing study of company product lines
· Develop relationships with colleagues and Manufacturer Representatives
· Must attend midyear and end of year performance sales meetings in order to provide ideas, methods or processes for company performance improvement
Requirements
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED required
· Proficient with Microsoft Office products (specifically Word, Excel and Outlook)
· Ability to work independently
· Self-directed and self-disciplined, able to thrive working remotely, with little supervision
· Must be comfortable in a fast- paced highly competitive environment
· Demonstrated skills and abilities in pricing, distribution cost drivers and margin analysis
· Strong attention to detail
· Ability to complete work accurately and in a timely manner
· Ability to make decisions/willing to seek out solutions when appropriate
