Virtual Construction Engineer - Minneapolis

The Virtual Construction team member is responsible for producing and maintaining 3D models throughout the life of a project. He/she will be accountable for the MEP coordination, schedule integration, support cost estimating, risk anaylsis, constructability reviews, and site logistics and planning. In addition to building and maintaining sub-contractor relationships, he/she will collaborate with internal A&P Business Development team members for other project pursuits. The Project Engineer will support the regional pre-construction and estimating teams and report to the Director of Virtual Construction.r project pursuits. Education - B.S. or B.A. degree or higher in Architecture, Engineering or Construction from an accredited school.  Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience in commercial construction or a related field with projects that have increased in complexity demonstrating the advancement of the individual’s skills and knowledge.   · Technical understanding of construction means and methods · Experience in producing 3D models and 2D construction documentation · Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines · Strong communications skills both written and verbal   Minimum Technical proficiencies: · Revit (Structure/Architecture/MEP) · AutoCAD MEP/Architecture · Animation and graphic experience is a plus
