Position Available:  Technician

 

Duties & Responsibilities:  Supports the goal of ServiceMaster in providing exceptional service and quality work.  Performs fire & water restoration, residential/commercial carpet, upholstery cleaning, duct cleaning and general disaster cleanup.  Training will be provided.

 

Requirements:

1.  Knowledge, Skills, and Ability

Personal integrity, high energy level, and a commitment to succeed.  Ability and willingness to learn.  Some knowledge of cleaning materials and equipment helpful but not necessary.

 

2.  Experience

A commitment to quality is necessary; experience is preferred.  We’ll train the right individual and reward your superior performance. Carpet cleaning or water extraction experience along with certification through IICRC is a plus. 

 

3.  Education

No formal education is required.

 

4.  Special Requirements

Valid Texas driver’s license with an insurable driving record

Must pass a criminal background check and a drug/alcohol test

Reliable transportation to and from work 24 hrs. a day

This position requires that you work overtime as needed. We are an emergency services company which requires you to be on call nights and weekends on a rotation basis, and to be available without notice 24/7.

Lift 85 lbs. dock high

Must be able to speak & write English

Must be able to work in non-climate controlled environments as needed

Moderate paperwork is required

Be receptive to traveling to hurricane and natural disaster areas in the region as part of the national disaster recovery team.
