Accounts Receivable/Deduction Analyst

Pinnacle Foods Group LLC, a $2 billion food company whose brands include Swanson Frozen Foods, Vlasic Pickles, Mrs. Paul's Frozen Fish, Celeste Pizza, Lender's Bagels, Duncan Hines, Mrs. Butterworth's, Van de Kamp's, Aunt Jemima, Log Cabin, is seeking an energetic individual for a Deduction Analyst position.

 

Job Purpose:

Coordinate cross-functional workflows required for effective and efficient “deduction management” process with a specific set of customers.  Serve as the primary customer contact in the area of deduction resolution.  Continuously improve process performance by identifying and

eliminating root causes of problems.

 Primary Responsibilities

1. Work with Brokers, CSR’s, DC’s, Master Files and A/R to coordinate the deduction resolution process and reduce deduction causes.Improve existing processes, or design and implement new ones, to reduce causes of deductions, and/or enhance internal PFC efficiencies.Manage deduction resolution process via the following activities:Perform minor adjustment write-offsMaintain status codes for open deductionsAnalyze deductions to determine cause and validityProactively work with customers and Sales counterparts to eliminate causes of unnecessary deductionsExpense valid deductionsWork with Sales/brokers to determine resolution path for invalid deductionsWrite collection letters to customersWork with DC’s to obtain proof of deliver and track RMA’s as necessaryDevelop and maintain customer remittance keys in cooperation with CSR’s, brokers and cash applicationManage deduction documentation flow

 QualificationsMinimal Education Requirement:  High School Diploma, Associate Degree preferred.  Previous experience processing deductions preferredPinnacle Foods offers a competitive salary with excellent benefits, 401(k), and tuition reimbursement.
