Assistant Innovation Manager – Global Haircare

 

Job Description and Responsibilities: 

The Assistant Innovation Manager will work closely with the Global Innovation Leader for haircare to identify and develop new brands and new segments 2-5 years out, including new concepts & product development, global marketplace analysis, P&L business case development, global volumetric forecasting, budget management, and sales analysis for a specific brand.  



Qualifications:

·  Prior marketing experience with a global brand

·  Hair care or beauty experience is strongly preferred

·  Demonstrated skills in developing new brands and segments

·  Experience managing the new product development process

·  Demonstrated ability to see the “big picture”, be creative and work at a strategic level

·  Experience managing a budget

·  Qualified candidates must have a Master’s Degree or Bachelor's degree in

  Marketing

·  3+ years of progressively responsible brand management experience in a beauty care environment

·  Additionally, the successful candidate must have demonstrated ability with financials,  

  P&L growth, strategic thinking, and leadership in a cross-functional environment

·  Strong communication skills

·  Excellent interpersonal/collaboration/relationship building skills

·  Strong drive for results

·  Creative, “out of the box” thinker
