Associate Finance Manager – Treasury Ops. & Inv.

The incumbent's job responsibilities will be as follows:

Pension:

Financial analysis and support for our funded Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution pension plans including:

Liquidity management for Master Trust (DB)

Compliance monitoring of investment managers (DB & DC)

Expense payment, budgeting and reporting (DB & DC)

Regulatory reporting and compliance (oversee 5500 / 11K / 990 / other audit & reporting processes)

Analysis of investment/funding strategies and performance management

Corporate finance aspects of pensions (e.g. pension funding, strategy and execution)

Other benefits related issues (e.g. excess/expat accounting, union trust investments, executive loans, etc.)


Treasury:

Executional and analytical support for general Treasury and corporate finance activities, including:

Back-up managing the U.S. and Canadian cash desk, U.S. commercial paper issuance and foreign exchange

Primary responsibility for interest and commodity hedging

Purchase/Delivery of shares for stock compensation programs

Sale versus lease analysis

Capital structure analysis for North American entities

Pension Funds Under Management
U.S. Defined Benefit Plans $ 1.338 billion (10 outside investment managers)
U.S. Defined Contribution Plans $ 1.711 billion (8 outside investment managers)

Treasury Activity
Average Hedging Volume (inc. equity) $ 200 million
Average CP Outstandings $ 0.5 – $1.5 billion
