General Description Assist in executing projects according to the established product development process. Part of a team that drives innovation and renovation that contributes sales and profits to each of our brands.
Minimum Requirements:
Education Completed: College Degree in Business or Marketing
Background and Expertise: 2-4 years project management experience. Marketing experience a plus.
Applicable Experience: Knowledge of product development process including consumer research, manufacturing (tooling), leadership ability
Technical Requirements: Microsoft Project
Summary of Responsibilities:
· Sets weekly agenda for project meetings and manages project meetings as designated.
· Captures project meeting notes and distributes to team. Follows up on action items and ensures that project tasks are completed on time, escalates issues as needed to resolve.
· Assists with budget – following up with the team/vendors on invoices, assisting with monthly accruals and communicating with A/P as needed.
· Maintains and updates detailed Microsoft Project Plans. Communicates milestones and deadlines to team.
· Maintains and updates online project folders and hard copy binders.
· Assists with project transition meeting as needed.
· Assists Project and Portfolio Process Manager in putting together monthly presentations for executive meetings.
· Serves as an informational liaison between international and US operations, marketing and R&D to gather information and/or help move projects along. Manages global product development projects as needed.
· Sets meetings as required for team – product development, priority meetings with Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain etc.
· Supports consumer research requirements for Team Tomorrow.
· Assists with end-of-project de-brief reviews.
