BUYER - PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Buyer in our Kansas City, MO distribution center.  As such, we are seeking an individual to provide support to our customers and outside sales force.  This is a hands-on position responsible for ensuring uninterrupted and timely supply of product to our warehouse and customers. · Process purchase orders acting as a liaison between customers and suppliers

· Negotiate pricing, terms and other contractual issues with suppliers

· Follow-up and expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery

· Promote clear communication

 

Qualified candidates should possess:

· Ability to successfully multi-task in a fast-paced environment

· A strong customer focus and service orientation

· Strong follow up skills and attention to detail

· A strong work ethic with a positive “can do” attitude and one who is flexible and takes pride in the quality of their work.

· Bachelor’s degree in a business related discipline
