Bakery Scientist

Our client is a global leader in food processing and consumer products currently experiencing considerable growth. We are searching for a talented Bakery Scientist to support product innovation through formulary and processing expertise. This is an excellent company to work for with a great team environment.  Location provides exceptional outdoor activities and urban entertainment. Responsibilities: As the Bakery Scientist, you will provide in house expertise in the development and expansion of an existing nationally recognized product line. Will work directly with the product development team, marketing and processing facilities to improve existing products as well as new product introductions.  Requirements: BS degree required, preferably in Bakery Science.  Must have at least 5+ years direct baking experience in food manufacturing. Hard baked goods highly preferred (crackers, cookies, biscuits). Must show have excellent communications skill and show innovative proficiency. Travel up to 30% as needed for projects.  Compensation: $70,000 to $90,000 DOE with bonus potential.
