POSITION SUMMARY:The position is a combination of application development using ASP.NET, database management, and onsite computer hardware and software support, and phone support for the Nestle Dekalb, IL transportation department. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Responsible for the design, development, coding, testing, debugging and documentation of applications to satisfy the requirements of one or more business areas.* May include hands-on new development as well as support, maintenance or enhancement of existing applications.* Works closely with management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes.* Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and makes recommendations.* This position requires experience in Microsoft DotNet Framework (VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET) and Mircrosoft SQL Server Database technologies. * Other job outputs include: Development of reports/tools for cost analysis ; Management of PC inventory, user set up, and computer and phone troubleshooting and onsite support. REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:* Bachelor degree in Computer Science* MCSD or A+ certification is desired, but not mandatoryEXPERIENCE: 1) 2-4 years experience with DBMS (Access, Oracle, SQL Server); familiarity with database design principles, stored procedures, etc. 2) 2-4 years experience with ASP.NET; knowledge of VB.NET and/or C#, OOP and enterprise architecture design3) 1+ Years of Web Reporting w/ Crystal Reports is desired, but not mandatory 4) Experience in a transportation operations environment is desired, but not mandatory RESPOND HERE!
