Buyer / Planner

Momenta is a dynamic consumer products company with offices located in the U.S., Australia and Hong Kong.  We have an immediate opportunity for a Buyer/Planner to assist in management of our domestic and Asian supply chains.  We are proud of our fun, supportive work environment and need the right candidate to grow with us.

Responsibilities include:Managing the product demand forecastWorking with freight forwarders to ensure on time product deliveries from AsiaManaging our third party logistics warehouseIssuing and managing purchase ordersDriving supplier on time delivery and quality performance Maintaining ERP system integrity

Job Requirements:A minimum of five years of Purchasing and Planning experience is mandatory, preferably in the wholesale/retail products industry. Experience with International Freight Forwarders. Experience with Asian suppliers. Must be analytical, organized, detail oriented, cost conscious and able to forge strong relationships with suppliers. Third party logistics management experience preferred. Must be willing to travel 5 – 10%. Strong computer skills needed, for both our ERP system and Microsoft Excel. Must be flexible and able to handle multiple tasks with high energy and a good sense of humor.
