CONSUMER AFFAIRS MANAGER – TEMPORARY POSITION

 

Assess consumer’s complaints/inquiries and respond via verbal and/or written communication in a manner that will promote consumer satisfaction and protect Company interests.  Coordinate communication with Regulatory Agencies, Insurance carrier, and Legal Counsel representing consumer claims or lawsuits.  Respond to routine inquiries from FDA regarding product complaints. Collect and analyze data and prepare reports for management. Position supervises one subordinate.

 

 

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS

 

· Bachelor degree or equivalent experience.

· Prior experience in a customer care or call center environment.

· Experience in consumer affairs, public relations or similar field.

· Superior written and verbal communication skills.

·  Good judgment; ability to react quickly by telephone and deal with the public in a professional, patient and friendly manner.

· Knowledge of commonly used computer software.

·Course work, seminars, or equivalent experience in food industry quality control procedures and seafood sensory evaluation preferred.

 

THIS IS A TEMPORARY POSITION. COMPENSATION COMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE.
